Ninety Nine Restaurant Kicks Off “Ninety Nine Night” at Citizens Bank Park with Donation to the Boys & Girls Club
BOSTON, MA (August 5, 2008) – Ninety Nine Restaurant celebrated their 3rd annual “Ninety Nine Restaurant Night” at Citizens Bank Park on August 5th, when the Philadelphia Phillies took on the Florida Marlins. At the game, the Ninety Nine Restaurant donated $116,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America. Martha Schmeidel of Levittown, PA, winner of the Ninety Nine’s Phillies Fantasy Sweepstakes, threw out the first pitch. The Ninety Nine Restaurant is a proud sponsor of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The $116,000 donation made on August 5th to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America was raised through a chain-wide raffle and a program called “Dressed to the Nines,” where 64 restaurants have been refreshed to date.
“The Ninety Nine is proud to be able to support such a wonderful organization like the Boys & Girls Club,” said Ninety Nine president John Grady. “We’re excited to make this donation to an organization that is really making a difference in the community. We look forward to growing our relationship even further and giving back to the communities in which we operate.”
To continue their affiliation with the Philadelphia Phillies, beginning September 1st the Ninety Nine Restaurant will start a new promotion where guests win every time the Phillies win. The restaurants will be giving out a free kid’s meal from the kids menu for every adult entrée purchased the day after a Phillies victory.
