Boys & Girls Clubs of America

The Ninety Nine Restaurants has a company-wide commitment and “A Passion to Serve” in the communities in which it does business, which means that team members give back to those less fortunate in the community. Ninety Nine Restaurants s broadened its community involvement by developing a relationship at the local level with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the oldest and largest organization that has a primary mission of service to youth.

For over a decade , the Ninety Nine Restaurants has shown its commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs through a number of initiatives. Every time a new restaurant location is opened, the Ninety Nine Restaurants makes a donation that benefits the local Boys & Girls Club that serves that restaurant’s community.

The Ninety Nine also serves the Boys & Girls Clubs through its Dressed to the Nines initiative. In order to evolve with the ever-changing restaurant industry, the company launched a new look in the restaurants, which includes a more contemporary image and décor. As each restaurant is “refreshed,” a two-week-long in-restaurant silent auction is held to raise money for the local Boys & Girls Club and the public school system. Plaques and memorabilia that have decorated the restaurant are auctioned off as part of the restaurant’s Dressed to the Nines initiative.

In addition to new restaurant openings and Dressed to the Nines, the Ninety Nine’s commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs continues throughout the year. Each Ninety Nine Restaurants has a relationship with its local Boys & Girls Club and donates food, funds and/or team members’ time to help its local chapter. “We are passionate about our relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs and we look forward to growing it even further and giving back to the communities in which we operate,” said Ninety Nine president John Grady. In addition to its work with the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Ninety Nine Restaurants ’s commitment to local communities is also exemplified in its work with The Pine Street Inn and public school systems across the Northeast.
